My name is Lucy and I am a Website Design, Social Media and IT Professional who provides bespoke Website Design and Social Media services to help clients navigate the digital maze and grow their online presence.
I have years of experience of designing websites (using WordPress and Joomla), social media marketing (Facebook and Twitter), VLE creation and management (using Moodle) and website and web systems testing for the Department of Education and other organisations.
I have managed the social media accounts (Facebook and Twitter) for a teacher training organisation which involved the creation of exciting and innovative content to promote the teacher training course and upcoming events. During my time in this role I increased the number of followers to these accounts, the engagement with the posts and the sharing of the posts. Alongside the social media account management I also created marketing materials for both web and print distribution.
I have also developed a Database system using Microsoft Access which was used by PGCE Course team at Keele University for over 10 years and was only eventually replaced when a university wide system came into place.
I also have extensive experience of providing Personal Assistant support both within the Education and Health sectors which involved, audio typing, course management, appointment booking, meeting and greeting visitors, event management, using numerous different computer systems (NHS systems, UCAS, Student Loan, Department of Education Systems, etc), diary management, arranging catering, creating marketing materials and other general administration tasks.
I have been a lover of computers since a young child and there is even a photo of me as an 18 month child trying to have a go at typing and using a computer!
As a follower of the ever developing and changing technology world I am always looking for ways to enhance my skills, try out new software and technologies in order to keep with the latest developments and am constantly coming up with new ideas to incorporate into my work.
